Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts and hosts. She hosted and moderated the talk show from 2010 until 2018, when she was the host. Her true love was when she added writing to her duties and won an Emmy for it. Then she won a second Emmy for her role as host of an excellent entertainment talk show. Her background in news helped her make the transition to The Talk, which examines current events and topics through the eyes of five female hosts.Chen Moonves hosted the co-hosted version of CBS News' weekday morning broadcast The Early Show from 2002 until 2010. Before that she was anchor of the news on The Early Show and anchor for the CBS Morning News, the morning show of the CBS Television Network, a half-hour broadcast.Chen Moonves was a reporter on a variety of major storylines for The Early Show, including the war of 2003 in Iraq. Following the 9/11 attacks She was taken to Cairo and located the main hijacker's father to give him an eye-opening exclusive interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul.Prior to The Early Show, Chen Moonves was a reporter and anchor for the CBS-owned WCBS-TV station in New York City (1997-1999).Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). While completing her last year of University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news program). As a desk assistant to ABC News late night broadcast Nightline she was a part of the team that worked with Ted Koppel. He remains one her heroes in journalism. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel in the production of the award-winning Columbia du-Pont documentary Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at the Los Angeles riots of '92.
