Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on August 5 for its second season. Chen Moonves has been a part of The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both moderator as well as host. In the year she started writing that her true passion was revealed. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an excellent entertainment talk show. The Talk is a show that examines current events by having five host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 and 2010 before becoming the host of the talk show. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and hosts for The Early Show. Following 9/11, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves is a journalist who has worked alongside newsmakers such as the former New York City City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Queen Rania and the former Defense Secretary William Cohen and Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News show. He profiled celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Prior to The Early Show he was an CBS owned station reporter in New York City, WCBS. In her final semester at college, she was an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). In her desk-assistant role in the ABC News late night broadcast Nightline She worked alongside Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel for the du-Pont-winning Columbia premiertime show, Anatomy of a Riot in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots.
